REGISTRY AUTO BACKUP SCHEDULE RUN AT USER LOGIN QUESTION

(1/5) > >>

James:
Hello Guys! Win 7, Home Premium x64

Have registry backup setup as of yesterday morning > I think.

But did not see a new backup in the folder so am thinking there was no auto backup.

What exactly does this mean: "makes the schedule set to run at user login" mean in the online help on page 1?

The reason I am suspicious of this "user login" business is that I have setup the startup to by-pass the login window because I did not want to be bothered messing with a sign-in on every startup.

Does this "user login" by pass I setup, mean the registry backup will not auto-run maybe?

Really appreciate your help on this.

Thanks much,

James

Samson:
Hi James,

Delete your current backup schedule and change it to "Run Under System Account", that should resolve your issue.

James:
OK Guy, deleted the top most checked schedule and opened bottom most checked schedule. So I guess its just wait, search & see thing now, right?

Samson:
Yup, just reboot, you'll see RB running in Task Manager, then check in the location where your reg backups are being saved.

James:
Uhh, post-reboot was no "tweaking.." in task manager. Now listed in startup after I dragged the tweaking open program icon into startup folder but still no tweaking running even in process hacker.

Nothing in "task tray (ya I know a new name, bla bla)" either!

Stuff's up here bud. What ya think? Thks, Jim

BTW, this forum's "Notify me of replies." option is dysfunctional even though checked cos > get no email notice. Hmmm?

 :omg:
