language issue using Windows Services to Default Startup

<< < (2/2)

pitpat:
Well,

just half part seems to be modified , description ok but name no

Edit:sorry , it's ok after reboot.

Willy2:
- Good to hear it worked. I wasn't 100% sure it would work.
- Did you also change the text for the "Associations" to French ?
- Save all those XP related files in case you update to a new version of Windows Repair.
- You also need to change the checksums in the file "files.txt" each time you update Windows Repair. Windows Repair will tell you what the old & the new checksums are & have become.

Willy2:
- Ooops. The checksums are in "file_list.txt".

pitpat:
Rather than saving each time in the tweaking.com folder maybe have I to save somewhere else in my HDD a reg batch file who contain all translate names I will ran just after repair use ?
Like this , I will not have to take care about checksums anymore ?

I just see there is new 3.6.3 version so I will tried in real conditions (I always will have to disable avast before update , he doesn't like tweaking.com  :teeth:)

ps:I haven't change the text for the "Associations" to French for now , I will saw if I really need also to do that.

Willy2:
- That's possible as well. Put all the new translated registry info in one *.reg file and add/run the *.reg file everytime after you have run (a new version of) Window Repair. No need to change the checksums. But of course, then you must not forget to manually run that *.reg file everytime you have used Windows Repair (WR).
- Another possibility is to buy the PRO version of WR. That allows the user to automatically "run" a (customized) *.reg file after all the repairs have run. But I don't know if you're willing to do that or can afford that.
- I have looked at the registry info for the associations. And that seems to be more tricky.

- Keep us posted !!!
