windows update repair works only partially

Now that you have most of them installed, run WR a couple of more times and then retry the updates.

I'm not sure why you are still getting the 05 error after running that MS batch file though.

Hello...been a little crazy around here and have not had time to try anything new.  Last night was the clincher to the craziness...the updates for May came through so I threw caution to the wind and loaded all 14 of them, unchecking the two that gave the 70005 error.  They all loaded with no problem.

I am at a loss for words.  I think I will hide the four reported previously with the 70005 error and pretend they do not exist.

Thanx for everything.

Boggin:
Just try them later - which ones were they ?

pratomorone:
They are:  KB3139398, 3110329, 3133977 and 3137061.

Boggin:
I haven't been able to update this Win 7 laptop yet, although my other one updated without any problems.

Unfortunately, I can't check that one as I've just put it in this morning to be checked out following a number of Display driver stopped responding and recovered errors with it blue screening after the last one.

Give me a few while I Google them to see their import.
