error 800f081f unable to update Windows 7 (SOLVED)

Update.  I've been able to restore the image and so far it's working ok so don't spend any time on this.  I'll update later.

I've had update and upgrade problems myself which I've only recently been able to resolve, but glad to see you are now on your as well.

The laptop upgraded to Windows 10 seamlessly once I restored from the image.  Everything seems to be working fine.  Thanks so much for your help with these issues.
