Windows Repair v3.9.23 stops at repairing

Can you check Event Viewer again as I'm surprised this isn't recorded.

Something is stopping the program from resetting permissions.

Only a few things can do that - mainly antiviral programs.  What are you running?

The problem with explorer.exe is fixed.
Disabled manually all services that belongs to "COMODO Firewall" and rebooted. The system runs now normally in normal mode and we were able to run the uninstaller of "COMODO Firewall" successfully.
