I think I may have solved mine.

I was using Google's DNS servers in the laptop but have since changed those back to auto - also uninstalled Adblock Plus.

If you still get the same after the reinstall, there are other DNS servers other than your ISP's or Google's you can try.

OpenDNS - 208.67.222.222 /208.67.220.220

Forget what they call these but you can choose two of 4.2.2.1 through to 4.2.2.6

Ping each in turn, take the quickest for the Primary and the next quickest for the Secondary.

After changing the DNS servers, open a Command Prompt as an administrator and enter -

ipconfig /flushdns

ipconfig /registerdns

exit

Then flush the browser cache.
