Boggin:
Which build of Win 10 are you using ?

Go Start - type winver and press enter and let us know.

simon65:
hi thanks for getting back to me my version is 1703 (build 15063.540)

Julian:
it all depends on what is causing that error to be honest. what i would do is try to run the program and all the steps 98% of the repairs are registry related. so you can easily restore the registry and it will be as if the WrAio never ran.
Now with that said do you get this error when you run windows store and try to update apps?

Boggin:
As you have the latest build then I assume you are getting this error when trying to download from the Store.

See if these cmds will anything for it.

Go Start or press the Windows key+x and select Command Prompt (Admin) - accept the UAC and enter -

dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

sfc /scannow

shutdown /r /t 00

and see if the problem is resolved after the reboot.

The first two cmds should report as successful and the sfc /scannow should report no integrity violations.

Let us know if either of the cmds report otherwise.

You can also use Windows Update troubleshooter from Control Panel/All Control Panel Items - Troubleshooting/View all and select Windows Update.
