Use of tweaking.com repair and switching to Safe Mode
Boggin:
Okay - I don't know why this is happening so I'll pass this onto Shane.
How long is it since you updated to 1809 ?
You normally get 10 days to revert to the previous build and if this still applies to you, perhaps you could see if it will revert then try booting into that mode again with the program.

This is what I did:
I was running Preview Builds that were giving me problems so I reinstalled Windows 10 1709 with the HP Stick that I was given to me for a factory reinstall. I have a HP ENVY.
I then proceeded to update through Windows Update to the latest Windows 1809 Build. 17763.168
I did nothing else besides reinstall all of my apps and programs.
So, you would like me to go back to 1709 to see if it works on that build? I'll think about that for a bit. As I stated before, tweaking does work perfectly for me by going into Safe Mode through the normal computer routine. But I understand that you want to know if it's the program or my PC. Sounds legit. I just may try it and get back at you.

Okay - Thanks.
There have been some teething problems reported between 1809 and WR 4.4.0 in what it was intended to achieve, but yours is the first for this problem.
I've emailed Shane about your problem with a link to your thread but I'll have to wait until he gets back to me on that.
mecanicogolf:
Yes. I know. I've been up to date on the problems with 1809. Bugs everywhere. I believe that they are still not over.
Just to let you know, Tweaking.com did work on 1709. It stopped when moving up to 1809.
I was an Insider for a while but not now. It did not work on those builds either but let's forget those. Too tricky. I gave it up except for the slow ring. Pretty much stable.

Boggin:
Okay - thanks for that, so it looks like it is a problem with 1809 for you.
