Hi.
Every time the computer system is switched on, right mouse click on Recycle Bin flashes up, the
content window then disappears. On Second Right Click it appears and stays there for awhile.
If you Empty the Bin many times or continue to do normal windows functions like,
example:- Moving files. Deleting them, editing .text files, using other programs and so on.
As you continue to work operations slowly slow down until.......
After about 40/50 operations you get a memory error. Click OK and the desktop Icons disappears.
The screen is blank (Not blue screen). Wait a while, and Desktop Icons re-appear, Memory is
reset to normal and everything else to, just like a Cold restart bar programs being used being lost.
They will re-appear back on the task Bar ready to use again.
After that, you can continue working on what you were doing.
Right mouse click on the Recycle Bin does the same thing as when system was just started.
Right mouse content flashes up and disappears. Do it again and contents is there and the
cycle starts all over again.
It seems that after the content window is shown a command is missing in the registry which
sends it to 'wait for selection' and on selection goto or gosub required routine.
I do not know where the Recycle Bin Right Mouse click registry command is or what it contains.
I do not have a Windows XP program that traces every action you do and where is goes.
This may help in finding the missing Registry entries.
Anyway no matter how you look at it, Windows Repair pro does not repair the Recycle Bin in total but in part.
Hope someone can solve and update Windows Repair Pro.
All the best.
