I've been blocking this update for some time
I have performed patches without result including Tweaking Repair
I bought and installed a new W10 home license without problem, but that did not change the problem
DISM finds error 87 on the 2 commands "startcomponent cleanup" and "restorehealth" with sfc / scannow no integrity violation
I do not know what to do
thank you in advance for your help
excuse me I'm french for the language mistakes
cordially

Boggin:
Win 10 is now up to version 2004 which you can download from - https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10

Click on the Update now button for the May 2020 update.

When that has installed, perform the dism/startcomponent and /restorehealthe cmds again to see if they still report errors.

However, Win 10 has its own Troubleshooter you could try to see if it identifies anything.

Click on the Windows icon then on the Settings cog - Update & Security then on Troubleshoot in the left pane.

You may have to click on Additional Troubleshooters to select the Windows Update one.

Thank you for your reply
I had already download version 2004 and run https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10
no result
in fact my pc never restarted in "verification that you are ready to install" it went after 100% without restarting
I tried with the 2nd block "windowscreationtool" put on key without success
some windows services cannot be started such
systemCOM + application, DCOM
wuauser
msiserver
rpcss
and others

I tried to repair with the free Tweaking Repair tool practically the first 21 items without result maybe with the pro it will work?

I have a version of the components from the later store which may prevent updates noted 10.0.18362.1 in us?
my current version: 10.0.17134.1304

I wonder if resetting the Windows Update components would help - this could prove to be a help in Win 7.

Open a Command Prompt (Admin) and copy & paste these cmds to the prompt.

They will auto run except perhaps for the last one where you may need to press Enter.

net stop wuauserv

net stop cryptSvc

net stop bits

net stop msiserver

ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old

ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 catroot2.old

net start wuauserv

net start cryptSvc

net start bits

net start msiserver

Enter exit to close the cmd window and try the updates again.
