Can you click on those services then on Restart in the upper left pane.

I don't understand French so don't know what the report says in your pic.

BTW - You get the same level of repairs in the free version of Windows Repair as you do in the Pro version.

hi
I stopped and restarted some services but the status is noted as running so ok
on the other hand some are grayed out (the 5 grayed out plots: start, stop, choice of the type of start, ..suspend, resume)
DNS cache
RPCSS

I downloaded the Windows10update9252 then run it without result (I must have an old version?)
I also downloaded the tool mediacreationtool without result
I made a key with rufus including iso 1803 from my version with no result

I do not know what to do?
cordially

If you have created a bootable USB from the MCT, can you boot up with that and navigate to the Install screen and click on Repair your computer/Troubleshoot and select Command Prompt.

If you haven't created a bootable USB then you can do after reading - https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10

Insert the USB before downloading the MCT and it will auto create the bootable USB without the need for any 3rd party programs.

This will give you the latest version of Windows.

At the prompt enter bcdedit |find "osdevice"

For clarity that is a Pipe symbol before find and is the uppercase of \

Using your partition letter instead of the x I have exampled, enter -

dism /image:x:\ /cleanup-image /restorehealth

sfc /scannow /offbootdir=X:\ /offwindir=X:\Windows

Note the space before each /

Enter exit to close the cmd window, remove the install USB and reboot and then either use the Settings cog/Update & Security to check for updates or try the May 2020 download again.

Let me know if those cmds report anything other than completed successfully or no integrity violations.

If you still have problems then insert the install USB - open Windows/File Explorer then double click on the USB drive which will open to its files where you would then double click on setup Application.

This will perform a repair install which doesn't affect personal files or installed programs.

Hello
thank you for your reply
I made the 3 orders as administrator see the attached photo

indeed I have already downloaded Windows10Upgrade9252 and launched this last update which fails because my pc never restarts several times so do not install the 2004 version

I also tried with a USB key with the same mediscreationtool tool I always stay at version 1803

cordially

Sorry for the late reply.

To perform the dism and sfc /scannow cmds in that format, you have to boot up with the install USB and navigate to the Install screen and select Repair your computer/Troubleshoot and select Command Prompt.

If you still have update problems after those and rebooting, then insert the install USB, open Windows/File Explorer - This PC and double click on the USB drive.

This will open to its files where you then double click on setup Application.

This will perform a repair install which doesn't affect your personal files or installed programs and should replace your current version of Windows with version 2004.
