Oscar:
Hi Shane, hopefully this is the information you required?

Size on disk 4.58GB
Contains 3798 files 1008 folders

Default
Size 1.64MB
Size on disk 1.75MB
Contains 42 files 43 folders

Public
Size 6.55MB
Size on disk 7.39
Contains 335 files 43 folders

XP
My name user
Size 443MB
Size on disk 401MB
Contains 1476 files 914 folders

All users
Size 200MB
Size on disk 153MB
Contains 612 files 187 folders

Administrator
Size 18.3MB
Size on disk 18.6MB
Contains 95 files 76 folders

Default
Size 18.3MB
Size on disk 11.1MB
Contains 93 files 74 folders

With all these extra users (when there is only one user on both laptops) would that be a waste?

Thanks again

Shane:
Those are not extra users, they are suppose to be there :-)

So far I dont see anything taking a huge amount of space. You may want to consider getting a bigger drive anyways. It would be faster than that old one. I use Western digital myself

Oscar:
Hi Shane thank you

I had thought of getting bigger drives for both, but wondered about the age of both XP & Vista machines.

XP approx. 7-8 years old

Vista approx. 4-5 years old

Taking into consideration this only a recommendation, personally do you think it is worth it.

My thoughts the hard drive etc could go anytime etc

Laptops are cheaper these days.

Thanks again

Shane:
It would be cheaper to get new drives then a new system. So if these old machines are fast enough for what you need then spending $50 or so dollars on a drive isnt a bad idea vs $500+ for a new store bought system.

Oscar:
