jraju:
Hi,
I have a iso file of size about 9g.b containing video files. But i want to reduce further the same iso to fit in to normal 4.7 g.b ,(so that i can open the contents and copy) with no opening problem. is there any free software to download and use.what the size of the shrink file

Shane:
An iso is a image file of the disk. You cant shrink it like that.

You have to extract the files off the iso, edit them to make them smaller (You will need video editing software for that) and once small enough you can put it back to a disk or iso format.

Hi, your reply is affirmative. Could you please elaborate. I tried dvd shrink. But i got error message, if i choose the open iso image file to be compressed. Is there any free software to shrink, the iso, .

jraju:
Hi, the link i tried is given below

Shane:
Thats for DVD's, you didn't say it was a dvd movie you said it had video files on it.

Even dvd shrink encodes the movie to a smaller format. There is no compression. You cant compress a cd or dvd.
