compression software to fit in to standard 4.7g.b dvd disc
jraju:
Hello hi, Shane, It is a iso image containing some flv files, produced by using imgburner. the iso image size is more than 8 g b. So, i tried to compress using winrar, by selecting a dvd size. It has created 2 rar file, by splitting according to choice. Since these two files could not be stored in a disc. i come across that webpage. Next , i tried thro dvd shrink, which is showing error , when i try to open the source iso file. It gives error messages, like no videots file found. Is there any software that could compress the files to the dvd normal disc so that i could store the total file in one disc.
Shane:
No, like I said you cant compress dvd's. And dvd shrink is for dvd movie formats, not flv.
You are going to have to remake the isos and make 2 dvds instead of 1.

Hi, Could i use two layers dvd. I havent heard one like that. Does it actually available.? can i merge the flv files, if suppose more than 100 and make it as one. I am asking to you, because i always get prompt and considered replies.
Shane:
A dual layer dvd can hold 8.5 GB
You simply have to much on there you are going to have to remove some things. If you ever buy a blue ray burner a blue ray disc can hold 25gb.
