Hi, my congratulations, baby will be white hacker..:)

one day my earlier windows stopped booting up after windows logo, coz of that i decided to re-install a new clean windows and delete all partition and format it hole HDD, after i ran installing.
everything wen ok. but is trouble that it is in EFI mode and there is not to disable it into legacy mode.

i check bios but nothing is here, before i always was using a legacy mode, there is 2 option on first boot priority 1. windows boot manaeger and CD/DVD rom , before instead of Windows Boot Manager was something like that ST-HDD and numbers i did not remember it exactly now.

what happened with my notebook?

thanks for replay.

General Computer Support / Re: slow load up
« on: October 22, 2013, 05:06:19 am »
When you boot the system and you just see a blinking cursor that means the system is trying to boot off a device, in this case it sounds like it is trying to boot of something before your hard drive.

Go into the bios and make sure your hard drive is the first boot device. I use Asus motherboards, and they do one thing that drives me freaking nuts, if I plug in a external drive the motherboard sets that external drive as the first boot device! I have to go change it in the bios to tell it not to try to boot off my external drive.

Any motherboard that auto changes the start oder of the devices is crazy

Shane

Thanks shane for replay.

it is also asus motherboard too. i will do as u told me.

You can get a iso image that has every version of Windows in one setup, same as I use so I dont have to have a cd for every version :-)

Or you can do it yourself :-)

General Computer Support / Re: data recovery
« on: April 09, 2013, 11:00:51 pm »
There are lots of different ways to get the data. If the problem is just Windows not loading and the drive is still good then you can get the data off in a number of different ways.

One way, which is a free was. Is to download the Ubuntu Live cd. It lets you boot Linux right off the cd. You then have access to the the drives. Hook up a external drive and start copying your files over

Shane

thanks,

can u give me a link to download it? what is another way? is possible that by acronis?
