General Computer Support / keyboard malfunction
« on: May 08, 2019, 01:39:34 am »
This is my the second time this problem as occurred. My keyboard is printing on it’s own,
whenever I press the P or R keys. It then starts to type old passwords and other odd things.
I know that I am not infected by malware. I borrowed another keyboard the first time this happened and although the malfunction still occurred, when I switched back to my own keyboard, the problem went away.
This time that solution didn’t work.
I am at my wits end and have to use my iPad for all internet communications.
So far I have found nothing that will work.
Please anyone. HELP!

Thanks for the input, however I have already tried this and also done a complete scan for malware. I have Eset protection and it finds nothing. This is definately a fault in windows 10.

My pc is typing on it's own. Whenever I try to type the letter P, It types R, and then begins typing an old password of mine. I have tried everything I can think of, to no avail. Obviously it is making the pc useless.
All help gratefully received.

You obviously are trying to sell a product and did not read my post correctly.  Using this utility for system backups and then attempting to repair my system. My windows 10 was stuck in safe mode and after trying a reboot, which worked; I noticed that the back up hard drive partition had turned red, I have been unable to reverse this situation.

Running Tweaking this morning , I was using check disk in safe mode. It got stuck at 11%. After an hour I decided to reboot. However, it booted back into safe mode. I had to use a complete system repair to restore my Windows 10.
The problem is that the backup drive it was checking as now showing red.
Will it be safe to wipe and defrag it and start over?
