The link is here
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Avoid optional download, if you choose

Thank you

I have uninstalled Flash Player and re installed and tried to play the link video but still thre same.

I installed Flash Version 12

On the Adobe website they say something about a plug in (debugger etc) for Chrome have you got this installed enabled, not sure what this is?
If so how do get this too in Chrome?

I would remove any other plug you might have installed for that site and then just make sure you have adobe only

Shane

Hi Shane thank you

Would i uninstall or can i disable the plug ins (untick the box) in settings (Chrome)?

The Adobe said there was a Plug In for Flash that was a debugger etc. Do i enable this, and if so where do i find this?

I have checked that link. I could see the videos from china. I do not know chinese, but the videos are playing excellently without any additional plug in.
You could uninstall and reinstall adobe flash player . I have not added any plug in for this

Thank you
Can you direct me to the Adobe Flash Player new version.

Hi shane,
For curiosity sake, i tried youko com and it perfectly shows all videos in my browser. I am having firefox browser.
I think you need not have any special plugins except, adobe flash player. There are number of fake sites of adobe flash player, which are injecting venomous programs to make computer dancing.
get adobe.com is the safer site to download adobe flash player When i click, youko, it was all in chinese. I click translate, and i could view all the videos and i do not any other plug in to make it play .

Thanks for posting

Please can you try the link in my other post and see if it plays, this is for my girlfriend she likes looking at different hairstyles. I tried IE but same result as Chrome. It actually opens but then get the orange triangle with the exclamation mark in the middle of the triangle.

I believe that Chrome automatically updates Adobe Flash Player?

Thanks again would be nice for her to be able to watch this video, i think.

The site doesnt even pull up for me. The fact that youtube plays fine for you, they use flash, and yet this other site doesnt and it sounds like they dont use flash but their own plugin (Which is normally a big no no) Then I would say the problem is more bad programming on their part and not your system.

Shane

Thanks Shane

When that link is loaded the wheel goes around then a orange triangle appears with a exclamation mark in side the triangle does this happen to you as well?

Ku6.com doesn't work very well do they have the same plug in?

Its strange because it use to work.

Thanks again

Try this as a test, create a new user in Windows and then login with that user account and then see how it works. That will tell me if the problem might be something with the user profile and a setting somewhere.

Shane

Hi Shane thank you.

I am not familiar with video playing (little Youtube), so help is appreciated

Setup new account (no password) Chrome would't open so tried IE and same thing. There is a triangle with a exclamation mark in the middle, with some Chinese wording (don't know what it says) below.

Below is the link to the video.

Hope the video is ok.

Girlfriend likes looking at different hairstyles etc and was given this link to look at so hopefully it is ok, maybe this is a warning?

Thanks again

Try to do reset google chrome and internet explorer or a clean install of the Google Chrome + internet explorer Maybe this will help! And also download the  CCleaner program to clean everything on the computer! (Temporary Internet Files, Cookie. Etc.) See if this will help

reset google chrome https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/3296214?hl=en

reset internet explorer https://support.microsoft.com/kb/923737

download CCleaner program https://www.piriform.com/

But I wonder what youku ?

Hi thank you for your reply

I have cleaned with CCleaner but same thing.

Haven't done the Chrome / IE yet can take long time for this on my computer.

Hi Shane thank you

Tried IE but same thing.

Also tried 56.com and Ku6.com that worked for about 2 plays now these won't play as well, actually Ku6 works for a very short time then shoots across suddenly.

Can i load the plug in manually, if so how and where?

I read somewhere that cleaning the Browser cache and history can fix, but don't want to do this if necessary, using Dialup?

Thanks again

BTW the new AIO repair goes straight through now with the Registry Permissions etc without stalling.

« on: November 14, 2013, 12:52:12 pm »
That just means they will not be making any more updates for XP.

If your machine is to old then it wont play well with 7 or 8.

I say stick with 7, I hate Windows 8 new interface, and I will find out when Windows 9 comes out if MS says screw it and keeps the new design, will have to wait and see. Till then I am very happy staying on 7 :-)

Shane

Thanks again Shane

I am not ready to buy a new computer yet (this one is 7-8 years old) would like to look at Windows 9 (if a improvement on 8) so would like to wait for this.

Is there anything i can do to keep this Computer going on XP safely (use cit for home use websites, home banking). I have Avast, Malwarebytes).

Do i need to make sure the firewall is on?

Thank you

Hi Shane

I am a Home user and have a XP computer

Because they are going not support XP does this mean that i either have to upgrade to Win 7 or 8 or buy a new computer?

With your great work on the programs you supply, this computer runs as well as it can, thanks again.

I believe it is really only going to effect the security on websites, is this correct, and is there a way around it?

I suspect that Windows are doing this to make people  upgrade either their OS Windows 8 or windows computer.

Thanks in advance

It should since the hardware will be disabled. You can even disable it in the bios as well if you want to go an extra step.

Shane

Thanks Shane

In Vista where would i find bios?

Thank you

Hi Shane thank you

Please can you look at the attachments

This is with the same laptop (Vista)

I am running a Acoustic program on it and using a Pre/Soundcard (audio interface) Steinberg (Yamaha) CI 1 that is hooked via USB , so doesn't use the on board Realtek sound card.

I get strange phenomena s with the Realtek, almost like it gets in the way.

How can i correct this, i will not be using Realtek for this program?

Thanks again

How many times are you running the tool on your system?

Hi Shane thanks

Basically when the performance drops/slows.
Running this program still remains to increase performance when it drops off.

Quote
Remember I told you before that you only need to run it when something is broken, it isnt a maintenance program

Yep something must be broken on a regular basis cause the program remains to improve performance.

Quote
Unless you have file permissions problems you dont need to run that repair again.

Ok cool

What does the file permissions actually do, and also how does the computer misbehave when file permissions are broken so to speak?

Thanks again x 2 for the Google Chrome question as well.

General Computer Support / Reset File Permissions 1.9.14 AIO Repair
« on: July 14, 2013, 04:58:13 pm »
Hi when running the AIO version 1.9.14 the computer comes to a stand still, well absolutely snail pace on Reset File Permissions number 2 (sorry didn't see which one).

Sometimes this has gone through but most of the time doesn't get past this stage.

It seems when i don't disengage Avast it seems to go though most of the time.

Thank in advance

Yes you can, but on dial up you are looking at a long download time as some drivers can be in the hundreds of MB.

Shane

Thanks Shane

I have done Windows Updates on Dial up but not any driver updates.

Is it easy to do, specially the Windows updates?

Is there a link to how to do this, or briefly can you tell me?

Thanks again

Hi Shane thank you

1. How long do you think Windows 7 and its drivers will be supported?

2. Do i buy a Windows 7 64 bit Professional or Home Edition?

3. Is it easy to revert Windows 8 back to 7?

4. You say that buying OEM, is this only because of cheaper price?

5. I have been told there is no Dial up connections on new computers is there a adapter that can be used?
I will be going over to broad band eventually.

6. I use a important program that was developed on Windows 7 and i have been in contact with the Developer and he said it he prefers Windows 7, should i stick with Windows 7 due to this?

Thanks again

Hi Shane thank you

1. You mentioned newegg.com for the Windows 7 disc, i live in New Zealand would it be cheaper or was it just the price?

2. Also you said that i could only load Windows 7 on one computer at a time, so this means i can load it on another computer once the new one breaks?

3. Can i revert Windows 8 back to 7 on all laptops?

Thanks again
