ssd maintenance
« on: May 11, 2013, 07:03:24 pm »
Hey Bud,

It's been a while. Been busy with work. I have been using an ssd since my new system build back around Christmas. Should I use chckdsk.exe to check for errors or is this simply not necessary on an ssd?

chkdsk checks the files system and for bad sectors. SSD still have sectors and Windows still uses its file system on it. So doing a chkdsk every now and then still applies
