Hi Shane,
Can I clone my hp recovery partition to an external drive, then delete the recovery partition and expand my c drive? I'm using vista and I have the full version of macrium reflect installed for images and disk clones.

I don't know I never done that. But I always remove those anyways. They restore windows to when you bought the machine and have ticked off more than one of my customers who didnt know that when they restored with it.
Get rid of it and just have a Windows setup cd handy in case you need it
