I just went through many steps to remove the Smart HDD virus from my computer. I ran the above referenced program to unhide all the programs etc that the virus hid on me. The program ran great and for the most part was successful. Initially when I ran the program I did not have my external hard drive plugged in. When I plugged it in I noticed that all the folders on my external are also hidden. I reran the above referenced program but it did not unhide anything on my external hard drive. Does UnhideNonSystemFiles work on external hard drives?

Right now it only does what ever drive Windows is on.

How ever for your external you can do it manually. First you need to enable to see hidden files. Then on the external, highlight all the files and right click and go to properties. Take the hidden check off and hit apply. It should unhide everything for you
