How to copy 100s of PTIFF images from Govt website easily
« on: October 24, 2014, 02:58:28 am »
Hey Guys,

Thanks for looking at my post. This is my first one. My apologies if it is not the correct place to post this question.

I have  a problem. I need to copy ebooks from Government website. These books are available in PTIFF format. Only one page can be copied and saved in one shot. The link to website is below with a sample book. I can copy 100 pages in 10 minutes with lot of hard work that demands clicking on next page symbol, then click on save symbol then press enter 100 times.

My requirement is to copy around 100 books. I cannot use this manual/tedious process over and over again as each book has over 500 pages. Can somebody help me with a simple solution through some kind of automation.

Thanks a lot for any help you can extend!!!!!

Hi Shrinivas,

I have a friend who does this. She uses DLI Downloader.

Hope that helps,

Samson.

It is a shame the OP never came back

I can confirm that the above solution works well, thanks to my friend Sima for her advice and recommendation.

Shane, could you mark this thread as "Solved", it may help anyone Googling for a solution.

Thanks, Samson.
