A quick Question
« on: November 28, 2011, 08:06:41 am »
Hey there people and Hi to Shane!

I am currently running tweaking for the first time after finding it on Major geeks, I wanted to ask a simple question it has been involved in the "remove temp files" mode for about  three hours now, does this sound right or has it got itself tied in knots somewhere in cyberland does anyone know?

I know my system is in a bit of a mess so just want to give it the best chances before I stop the app.

The remove temp files should be rather fast. Do you have the command window open where it is removing it?

The program runs the fixes through a cmd.exe window. So it scans if cmd.exe is running. When it isnt it moves onto the next repair. So make sure you dont have any extra command windows open while doing the repairs

Hi Shane,
No, the command window went away. Think I will kill it and restart

Thanks for the quick reply

Hi Shane,

OK, I stopped the scan, restarted, and all tasks then completed. It asked for a restart, at which it launched a chkdsk sequence then opened right on cue, and seems to be perfectly fine!

I was thrown by the scan prior to start up but all seems very well with the system.

My sincere thanks.

Derek
