Chrome Not Work Properly, Process Starts Then Is Killed
« on: October 31, 2020, 06:59:09 am »
Last Night I was browsing with Chrome, Chrome is my main browser. Something happened, can't say exactly what because I'm always multitasking different things. It might have been a Flash-related problem, maybe videos failed to run or load - I don't recall. Chrome crashed and closed. I couldn't get it back open. so can anyone help me to solve this issue? Thank You.

Do other browsers such as Internet Explorer work okay ?

Sometimes an infection can cause browsing problems, so it may be prudent to run an antimalware scan with the free ESET Online Scanner.

If you are unable to browse in normal mode, then boot up into the advanced boot options to select Safe Mode with Networking.

After running a scan with that, see if uninstalling/reinstalling Chrome will resolve.

Let me know if ESET finds anything.

I'd still run the ESET scan and then uninstall/reinstall Chrome in the way the article suggests.

If a restart doesn't resolve then I don't think it is a Windows problem.

Do you get the same problem when you boot up into Safe Mode with Networking ?
