Chrome translate bugs
« on: November 13, 2020, 02:29:25 am »
Issue 1:
Google translate (Chrome Browser) on Facebook is not working properly.
Eg Translation from Russian to Polish.
The first post will translate, but when you click on the second post with the description "Show More" everything disappears! And it is like that every time.
The new Facebook makes it impossible to translate texts!

Issue 2:
Translation error on YouTube page into other languages.
Everything (yes, everything!) Is a completely flawed breakdown of movie titles.
For example, from English to Polish.
The error has been around for many long years.

Yes. Same problem in Microsoft Edge. I choose a translator. I click "see more" and everything disappears!

Chrome and Edge share similar attributes - try Internet Explorer.

Internet Explorer??? Ha, ha, ha  :cheesy:
This is no longer a supported browser, it is an old browser! Why are you proposing the worst that will work the worst?

IE doesn't have a "Translate" option and no add-ons will help especially for HTTPS.

Only Chrome and all Chromosimilar support fully HTTPS.
Any other browser will not support HTTPS pages = Not translate = error!

When I use IE to Google for google translate I get a box to copy/type the text into and select the language I want it translated to such as in my pic.

I agree that you can't go directly to Google Translate in IE and that it opens in Edge, although I haven't tried this on my Win 7 laptop.

IE isn't totally defunct as that is the only browser that you can use to download a Win 10 ISO to create bootable install media.
