registry backup
« on: January 10, 2013, 09:50:12 am »
Hello
This am I reported that the program seems not to want to run at logon.
I can find it under program filex86 but cannot find the backups where they used to be -C:..... regbak.
Should I uninstall and reinstall?

I am editing as I ran a manual scan and RegBak appeared but unlike the desktop which kept all my previous backups, the laptop lost all with the upgrade to the next version and still does not want to start at log on. The pcs are almost the same.
Once again no complaints just reports.

Your losing the location of the old backups?

What does the settings tab show for the backup location?

There seems to be no problem with the desktop so it is probably an issue with me.
The laptop did lose all backups when I installed the new version but I am not concerned about it..

The answer to your question is C:\Reg\Backup

I have looked at both the restore tab, and the Regbackup folder to find backups.

I have to be more careful reporting as my wife uses the laptop and for example this am I said did the tweak program run at logon - I told her to go to desktop to see and she said she forgot to look. It now shows todays date but not yesterday's which I was sure had a manual one.
Please let me get my end straight before you are wrongly influenced by misinformation.
I will be in touch.
