Thanks Shane I will try it as soon as I can and let you know. I do have a question regarding my desktop windows 7 home prem.. Two monitors with 3 programs running. I have several program window panes open in various locations on the monitors. I leave on all week and shut down Friday and restart Sunday evening. After EVERY OTHER shut down and restart several of the window panes move to random positions and I have to relocate. Do you know what the problem might be and would your program fix that? Thanks.
Shane:
Program wont fix that because it is windows doing it.
I have 3 monitors on my system. When I turn my computer on, if any of the 3 monitors are turned off when I boot up then windows thinks one of the monitors is unhooked and changes everything around. Super annoying.
But if I have my 3 monitors on before I even turn on the tower then it boots up just fine.
Windows will detect the monitors and the information from them. If anything ever changes then windows auto changes the resolutions and monitor setup.

Strange. When I shut my computer down I don't turn off the monitors. I leave them on. Like I said, it happens every other shut down/power up cycle.
Shane:
When you get a chance, do a power reset.
When the tower is off pull the power cord from it and pull the power cord from each monitor. Wait about 2 min and then plug them all back in and see if that helps.
Sometimes the hardware just needs reset, and to do that you need to drain all the juice out of it
