[SOLVED] Pre-Repairs Scan Help
Shane:
35,000 files I have gotten together :-)
The cat and mum files from vista, 7 and 8 all x32 and x64 bit. It isnt all of them out there but it is a good start.
I have them uploaded to a server and I will start making the tool soon that will download and put the files back :-)
Going to take a bit, but so far so good.

I have trouble running windows update (I get updates failed to install error), and hopefully if these were fixed I can use it again.

The SFC (System File Checker) doesn't scan and replace some of these files, so you may need to replace them manually.
If you need help in replacing these files, post on the Forums at Tweaking.com for help.

You cant just delete those files. They are also listed in the registry and when an update goes to read those files and they are corrupt OR missing then that update will simply fail out.

Even more great news.
I upgraded to the latest version of Tweaking, and ran a pre-repair scan test. I got more errors than last time. I tried to fix them using the sfc /scannow command, and it says that all of them couldn't be fixed. I have attached the scan log.
What to do now?
