E38:
Willy2 - I did the search with Everything, and they are all on "C:\Windows\servicing\Packages\"

Shane - I have several cbs.log files, and they are all greater than 90 MB...

Willy2:
- Odd. I would have thought those missing files were in the mysterious "C:\Windows\Winsxs\" subfolders as well. After all, Windows archives A LOT OF files over there.

Shane:
Open a cmd.exe window as administrator and put this in

findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log >sfcdetails.txt

It should output only the errors to a sfcdetails.txt file, then you can zip and attach that instead as it should be a lot smaller

I either get FINDSTR: Cannot open [SR], or FINDSTR: argument missing after /c. The latter was fixed by renaming it to c:/.

E38:
bump, any updates?
