HELP! HELP! BIG PROBLEMS AFTER REPAIR !

I just wanted to let you know that I did download and install the hotfix and I don't know if it has helped...the description says it should help with "known issues of ole32.dll problems" so I am crossing my fingers. I was able to get my rusty, drusty, old hp 1200 laserjet working the way I wanted by manually installing it using my Apple router's IP address as the printer port...I guess that is what the Bonjour Printing Services were suppose to do, but somehow couldn't do anymore. Anyway, it's working so I am happy. Thank you for helping me...I will probably be back with more problems...I wish I could offer help to you as well, but I am limited in my IT knowledge but I have alot of experience with these machines....

So I got everything "fixed" I thought this am with the hotfix and printer thing, and I haven't been on the machine all day...doing other things. So I was just in email and got "the blue screen"! I signed up for the dump file report thing, so how do I get to that, and should I restore to before the hotfix? I just can't seem to get back to "normal"! :teeth:

hI, sALLY
Like your poetic way of writing. But everything fixed would mean both fix and machine fixed. What do you really meant by blue screen in email.
Please, either i do not know how to correctly gauge or not
What is your problem, after all the fixes, were they fixed or the computer is now BSOD

sallyb:
What I meant was that I installed the hot fix patch that you recommended with no obvious events or issues, so I was hoping that it would fix that persistent ole32.dll problem I have or had. Then I figured out how to get my printer up and running like before, so I was hoping that I would not have any more problems with those issues again. But last night at 9:00 I was in gmail answering an email when my monitors suddenly went black followed by the dreaded blue screen. Then it rebooted..asked if I wanted to go to safe mode..but I was sitting there in shock and before I could go into safe mode, it booted up regularly. I noticed something about "memory dump" on the blue screen, and I know that should tell something about what happened.
I think I may have gotten the blue screen maybe only one time before that in the 2+ years I've had this computer, so I DEFINITELY still have problems! So what should I do now? I need to get to that memory dump report I'm sure. Also, should I restore to before I installed the hot Fix?

sallyb:
PS what is BSOD.
