Windows 7 update error code 80070002
TjaMat:
It did not fix the problem
Julian:
I love this error... no worries though first off we need to get sfc /scannow Working. Can you post me a screen shot of what it tells you when you try sfc /scannow
Option 2 is if you have a bootable Windows disk. You can use this method http://www.winhelponline.com/blog/run-sfc-offline-windows-7-vista/
I need to see a copy of the sfc scan log because i feel you may have corruption. And i want to see if the scan repairs most of it and then ill hunt down the rest.
Rick:
Run the latest ComboFix;
It helped me!
TjaMat:
Here is the mssg I get back after scannow.
I think I tried combo fix already.
Boggin:
Can you boot up into the advanced boot options, select Safe Mode and try the sfc /scannow again.
If you get the same error then enter chkdsk c:
This is a read only mode but will recommend any remedial action if volume errors are found, but will also show if any KBs in bad sectors.
