Computer won't shut down

Do you know your motherboard model by chance? Or is it a store bought machine, if it is what is the make and model?

Boggin: No yellow alerts, event viewer around startup: Dhcp, windows search ( or something), EventLog, Service control manager (a bunch of times).

What are the Event ID Nos for the Service Control Manager errors ?

But unless you know which services are involved, these for the last two aren't much help at all.
