Does the stick say Windows 7 on it? If so you can use that key code. Just during the install when it asks for the key code you will hit skip. Then once it is all done you go to active windows click on change key and put your key code in. Thats how you can use upgrade keys :-)

What is the mfg of your machine so I can look up the key and cert file? Also was it Windows 7 home prem.?

Hi Shane
The sticker says Windows XP Home Edition and then a long Product Key.
What do I do now?
Thanks
Adam

Shane:
You need to use a program to pull your current windows 7 key so you have it :-)
