Windows Repair v3.9.23 stops at repairing

MSCONFIG was used to select Safe Mode, not Windows_Repairs.

I was modifying my last post while you were posting yours.

Can you check Event Viewer to see if anything relates to the crash.

Also go into Device Manager/View/Show hidden devices and look for any yellow alerts, including in System Devices.

For it to crash on its own in that mode would point to a driver problem for me.

In Safe Mode with Networking in Win 10 you need to wire up to get Internet connectivity.

There are none.

I don't see anything wrong at the time Windows_Repairs was run.

I've asked for a second opinion on this as it's rare for a machine to crash on its own in Safe Mode.

Just for clarity, when you used msconfig, did you also check the Network box as well or just the Safe boot one ?

Safe mode with Network. I will check if 'normal safe boot' will make a difference.
