Windows 7 Ult 64 bit trapped by BSD and can not get out.
FreeCat:
Hi boggin. I found this from a friend. Says it is asier. https://www.iobit.com/en/driver-booster.php
What do you think?
Boggin:
No - I once tried that program and it gave me a wrong network driver.
Also, if you use Nvidia graphics then it could download the wrong driver because they can sometimes be OEM modified and if it gave you one from Nvidia then that could result in a BSOD.
I've also tried Slimdrivers which is another driver updater program and it would usually say the same drivers were out of date.
I no longer advocate driver updater programs.
FreeCat:
Thanks Boggin. Unfortunately, I did not see this until now. I awoke earlier and tried it. Still cranking. Hope you are in correct. hehe :|
Boggin:
So how many drivers is it telling you that need updating or is it in the process of updating ?
However, you should have your restore points to fall back on if needed.
FreeCat:
Yes, I have restore points and made a Reflect image yesterday.
It looks like it updated the video drivers and now it is paused wanting money, I guess, to do more.
Here is screen. lol
