System Restore etc

I've Googled no audio in win 10 to see if it is a common problem and it appears to be.
Of the number of Google links, these two have some other steps you could try, but you can do your own search and check out the other links.

Hi,
I could only go back to Aug 9. But it did install successfully. The volume level is good on the task bar but no audio alas.
So I don't know what to do next and I don't want to inadvertantly screw the install up.
thoughts?

Have a read through those two links I've posted but in System protection click on show more restore points as you may be able go back further to when audio was working.

It's strange that you are getting restore point problems on two machines, but I assume the audio is okay on the Dell ?
I've just updated my Realtek audio and the driver is now showing as 14/06/2017 ver. 6.0.1.8186
