won't boot

Yes I can boot up in safe mode and the post you are talking about is me .

So you can now boot up into Safe Mode using the program ?

yes I did run that chkdsk C: /r it did boy did it for about 3.5 hours the it bootup I can find any report but I know it ran.

Well C: is quite clearly defined.

To view the chkdsk log open Event Viewer and ensure Event Viewer (Local) is highlighted in the left pane - if it isn't then just click on it.

When it has read the data expand Windows Logs - click on Application/View/Find then type chkdsk or wininit into the Find box and press enter.

Cancel the Find box and read the report in the scrollable window below.

You didn't answer my question as to whether the repair program will now boot you into Safe Mode.
