Windows 7 "works" but can not create folder or rename files

Thanks for the update.

I don't understand why it's taking so long - is this with the Dell disk or the one you created ?

I think mine got to about 74% of the last phase before I got the error I did and that was only after 2hrs.

However, all you can do is wait.

Yes, it is with the Dell disc.
 
Friday and still at 86%.   The machine is processing as the TM shows between 20 and 25% CPU use (moving back and forth and the little progress dots are moving.

I will continue to wait.

So at least it is still working.

Hi Tom - Now it is 5 20 PM Friday.  I stopped it as it was still at 86%.
Something was wrong.  I am downloading a new ISO to my C drive.
I await you instructions.  Thanks for your help.

Can you still boot into Windows normally ?
