Just booted up and the program shows me as a "free" user.

I paid for the Pro version a while back but it will NOT take my info.

I entered my info and restarted the program but it will not take!

Pls advise

Another member has PM'd me with this message regarding WR 4.6.1

I purchased the pro version 2 years ago and all updates have worked perfectly fine up to 2018 _v4.5.2 and today I tried to update to v4.6.1 and I get this pop up screen "Houston we have a problem".

Regardless of what I put into the "Buy Pro\Enter Key" screen name (email, name, nickname) and my license code is: xxxxxx0348 , it still shows the "Houston we have a problem" screen !

I've just updated my Pro version to 4.6.1 on two machines without problems.

I've advised that member to uninstall/reinstall.

Normally WR will show as free version until it can phone home to confirm its status, but you obviously have an Internet connection as that member has.

See what an uninstall/reinstall does for you, although it could have been because of a fault on Tweaking.com's end so trying again before the uninstall/reinstall may prove more successful.

Sorry for the repeated posting but no matter what I try I get the same results as you have shown with the "Sorry Houston" window in the middle.

Yes I have a direct connection when this is happening.

It is also happening to BOTH my Desktop (direct connection) and my laptop (wireless) both with Win-10 64 bit.

Both PCs are using the same network at home.

Even though I haven't had any problems and so far neither has anyone else, I'm going to email Shane about the problems both of you are having.

I'm not sure when I'll get a reply from Shane but will chase it up if I haven't had a reply after three days.

I'll remove your newer thread as a duplicate.

Boggin:
Can you see what the program shows as after you have booted into Safe Mode with Networking - use Windows to boot into that mode.

I'll wait until you get back to me on this before I send the email off to Shane.
