Registration of Version 461

So I installed v470 (and have updated to W10 (1909) since the last support issue and I still get the same message that my key is invalid!
I also checked my network connection (in FireFox) and it uses System Proxy settings.

Any other suggestions?

I don't know what you would select from those Proxy options - can you use IE and make that your default browser.

I have never used IE since I discovered FireFox tabs some 15+ years ago and Windows repair worked fine and registered fine until v461.  I can fire it up since Microsoft installs it and doesn't let one remove it and check it's LAN settings. It looks good to me!

Yes, that looks fine but I've asked Shane why does the program need a browser to phone home to check its status.

BTW - IE can be "uninstalled" by unchecking its box in Programs and Features/Turn Windows features on or off but it's strongly advised to have another browser installed before doing so.

It's probably best just to leave it and use whichever browser you prefer.
