Help line never replies to email Cannot back up Registry

Okay - let me know how you get on.

Spent two hours and about 50 restarts without success!

Tried to follow your procedures with Installation CD in tray before turn on and not.

If Installation CD in tray before turn on - it just boots and f12 or f8 do not stop the boot

If Installation CD NOT in tray before turn on -  f12 or f8  stop the boot.

F8 brings up the repair inverse screen but pressing enter does not repair as "error" then says put in  Installation CD in tray and reboot.

Reboot with Installation CD in tray before turn on - it just boots  very slowly and f12 or f8 do not stop the boot.

scannow issue not fixed

so 2 hrs later still the same - any ideas?

Are you changing the boot order to boot from the DVD drive when you tap F12 as you switch on ?

Boggin:
When you tap F12 as you switch on, that gives you a one off option to change the boot order.

Use your cursor keys to highlight the DVD drive - insert the disk and press enter.
