Boggin:
Can you check to see if it happens when you use Internet Explorer.

ejk8626:
After the new Edge came out, I removed IE from my machines. I could probably reinstall, but I would rather  not.

I think I will just live with it. It is only slightly annoying and I am certain that I can find more important annoyances ...

Thanks, Tom.

Boggin:
Another forum member found that he was unable to download the MCT to create Win 10 install media with any other browser other than Internet Explorer.

You can reinstate it by going Start -type iexplore.exe and press enter when Internet Explorer comes up.

You can then pin it to your taskbar should you ever need it.

Firefox is the only spare browser that I have installed but rarely use and while I can invoke Edge, I haven't updated it to the latest version - I just don't like it.

Some websites have defaulted to opening in Edge as they no longer support IE but so far, they are few and far between.

Thanks.

I now have it pinned to the Taskbar and will play with it to see if Gmail exhibits the same characteristic in IE as it does in Edge.

Boggin:
Let me know how you get on.
