Exit message in Gmail

I just received that same Gmail exit message using Chrome.  I have never seen it before.  I just clicked "Leave" and everything worked fine.  Might be a bug in the newest version of Chrome or in the Gmail app itself.  I am not concerned.  A lot of these glitches get quietly resolved.

I'm still waiting for a comparative reply about IE as I don't get it in that browser.

It doesn't happen for me in Firefox either.

Tried it in IE (NOT Edge - old or new one) and it did not seem to exhibit that same performance; that is, no message on exit telling me that all my changes might not be saved.


If it gets too annoying, I might use the old IE (Version 11) just for email. We'll see...

Thanks for getting back on that.

I had a hunch it could be browser related.

As it affects both Chrome and Edge which are correlated but not other browsers, then it may resolve itself - at least for Chrome as I believe that gets regular updates.
