Had run out of ideas when I went through the Widows Community site and found this program. I am not "techie" but I do know how to follow instructions. Thanks. Nice to have you around.

Had not been able to load/run Microsoft Updates for over a month due to a corrupted update from Redmond! I tried numerous "fixes" that didn't fix anything, but did try my patience! The solution from tweaking.com fixed everything and it was so easy and simple. Thank you so much for providing this simple and easy true answer to what ailed my ProBook 4530.

Uh Oh! The "fix" lasted for 1 week. No updates since 1/21/15. Tried rerunning the program - twice. Still no updates. I know there have been updates the last couple of days, but my Windows Updates is not finding them. Any suggestions?

MS only puts out updates on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, unless there is an emergency fix, or it is a simple option update like a virus def updates for secularity essentials.

I just checked my Windows 7 system that I am on and the last updates I got from MS was on the 16th, nothing has been offered yet since then

I think you are fine and there isnt any updates to do yet. You will know for sure after the 2nd tuesday of Feb

@Vicki: Do you have Windows Defender running ? IF so then you indeed got a problem because MS issues updates (nearly) every day.
