Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks in advance,

General Computer Support / Re: Keyboard does not work in Bios
« on: September 04, 2016, 10:22:29 am »
I have complained but they want me to send this board in and me be without a computer for several weeks rather than sending me another. Very irritating.

They will replace my board with another but my processor is not compatible.

It is actually the socket pins that I need to straighten.... My processor is fine.

Any suggestions on how to deal with those?

Do you know anyone interested in buying an i7-4930k? It's a silicon lottery jackpot.... I can overclock to 4.5ghz with 1.28 vcore or 4.7 with 1.355 vcore.

I was able to restore in safe mode. Thank God!

I also figured out the keyboard not working in the bios issue...

I purchased a Inateck 5 port USB 3.0 PCI card (fresco logic f1000) for the oculus rift... When the card is plugged in... My keyboard does not work in the bios... When I unplug the card... My keyboard works in the bios....

So... Now I am troubleshooting that issue.

Also, I received a replacement motherboard  in an RMA for my Asus Rampage IV Black Edition.

When I received it... Some of the cpu socket pins were bent.... One in the middle... And a few in the top left corner.

What is the best way to bend those pins back? I have absolutely no experience with it.

Thanks again guys for all your help. Boggin you always answer my questions.... Thank you.

Guy,

I am having serious issues.

I noticed the chipset driver would not install so uninstalled and deleted driver in order to try to update the latest version to fix my issue.

Well now... I can't install any chipset driver and most of my devices say they are not configured properly in device manager....

Please help.

Hello guys,

You guys always own it when I have an issue. There is no where else I can find info that I have not thought of or those quite smarter than me. =-)

Anyhow, the problem is in the in the subject line...

When I start my PC... No keyboard detected in the bios.... Everything is fine once loaded into Windows.

The USB ports on the front of my PC that were supplied with my case.... They work in the bios.

Any idea?

General Computer Support / Windows 10 Ethernet Issue
« on: April 17, 2016, 03:07:20 pm »
Hello all,

It has been a while but I have singed your praises to everyone I know since I last posted on here and purchased the tweaking.com pro edition.

I am having issue with Windows 10 and my Intel 82579v Gigabit Ethernet connection.

Windows 10 is saying the Ethernet is disconnected. However, if I disable my wifi adapter I have an Internet connection via Ethernet. Also, if I go to status it says ipv4 and IPv6 is disconnected but bytes are coming and out. When I run a speed test on the just the Ethernet I am getting 65mbs dl and 5mbps ul.

This would not bother me other than the fact that Windows applications think the Ethernet is disconnected and I cannot use the Xbox app and sometimes I cannot get Windows updates.

I have updated to the latest driver.

I have searched multiple forums and Google with no solution.

If anyone out there can help please help!

Thanks again,
Layne

General Computer Support / 1234F Message On Win7 Boot
« on: October 31, 2015, 09:45:32 pm »
Hello all,

I am getting a 1234F dos message when I try to boot Windows 7.

How can I fix this? I do not want to format because I cannot afford to lose all of the pictures and videos on the drive?

Thanks in advance,
Layne

It is going great other than the pure hell I am having with Nvidia drivers and my sli configuration. Sli will not stay enabled and games are freezing like crazy....

18
Good news! I tried the Arconis backup and it worked beautifully.

I upgrade to 10 again...another shot....

19
I did a backup with arconis but I don't trust it.

:-/

Windows.old folder is still there... It will not allow me to revert for some reason

20
Wow I just tried to revert and it is telling me that the files were removed from my PC??!?!?! I have not removed anything...

21
It is basically getting worse and worse.

Now Cortana does not function when I click on the icon on the taskbar...

No sfc /scannow or DISM will work....

I cannot lose my APPS.... how can I repair this or revert back to 8.1 without losing my apps???

There has to be a better way to repair this errors rather than losing ALLL of the apps on ones computer...

Help if you can...

Thanks,
Layne

Go for about 2-3 mins crash....

A lot of stuff in event viewer... Is there a way for me to share with u guys?

So maybe someone out there could help me fix these horrific issues.... If that is even possible...

Thanks,
