Hi,   I had addressed them, but still no answer. Any how a print screen of the error is enclosed for your valuable advice. Some says that it is a very deep rootkit issue. When i try to download gmer, a tool to fix these kind of rootkit, site advisor warns me not to download gmer. What is kernal read failure. What is kernel to me it is like kettle.
Expecting your valuable reply whether i could use gmer tools.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. Other cds are perfectly readable. So, i think that there is read error in the disk.

Hi, Shan, as already mentioned in my thread that it is already a copy of the original. Is there any way to fix these errors, so that i could copy them to my pc. Moreover, how to fix this errors. For all other drives, you are having tools in the properties, but for cd drive, there is nothing. I tried chkdsk command on my cd drive in command prompt, but it says that this command cannot work on raw disk.
Knowledge is to share , i appreciate you for that.

Hi,    I tried to download svchost tool, to which the site advisor has shown this. Hence i communicate to you. I request you to address them, as one report say its green and another download link is shown as red. It is not that i have any issue with this site, but a newbie like me would if browse, would only see this kind of dubious site advise. By the by, i tried your system tweak and it really improves my computer speed. Thank you for that.
one more issue, when i scanned my pc with the mbar.exe, rootkit, it denotes that kernal read failed 488377168.Done in the next line. But it has not reported any rootkit at the end of the scan and furnished the message that no cleaning is necessary. What does the above error denotes. AS i think you are trying to help others in the fixes, i am continuing this thread with this question as well. If it has to be asked as a new post , i will do the same. Thanking you once again.

Hi, Shan what about speccy, which i am using as defragger

Hi,    Have you been able to load the internet pages previously. Have you tried system restore option in windows to revert to a previous day, when you were not having this problem. The menu is available, in accessories, system tools , and system restore. The problem would be solved.
Have you downloaded any torrent downloads. This may also affect internet settings. I experienced similarly and my internet would not load internet pages. So , I stopped downloading thro torrents.

Hi, Thanks shan. But babylon tool bar malware or trojan, is not being captured by either tdskiller, . Malware bytes only catches funmoods, when i run. I have asked to provide some solution, as these programs are being injected when downloading mostly free software from reputed sites like cnet, softonic etc. So, shan, sir, may try to give a kind-a-warning message when downloading programs., not as a whole monitoring tool. I think he has been giving tools which are provided by others on monetary basis. He is also giving immediate replies to any concern. Thanks once again

Hi, evans thanks for the reply. Ccleaner' speccy defragging problem would somehow improve the performance. Other than these, Shans recommended fix, like malwarebytes, mbar.exe, tdskiller, would be enough to do the tricks. Try these

Hi,   I forgot to tell one thing
After tracing the boot delay, the computer will be rebooting. Allow reboot. After reboot, go to all programs , bootvis, and open it , go to trace menu again, and  select optimize boot. Then it will give 2 ticks, Then reboot and your computer performs well.

Hi, There is a fix in msoft. It is called BOOTVis. Try to download it from msoft site and install it. When installed open it select trace, and click bootup+otherdelay, the window will close and then starts. Allow bootvis to rectify the delay. Again restart the windows, the result will be showing in tick marks as two items. Then once again start windows and you could see the better performance. Pl report any improvement, if any in this. Bootvis will arrange the boot order such a way that it boots faster and giving maximum performance. For me it worked.

Hi,     Besides the method advised by sr. shane, i would like to share this. It may seem funny, but malware bytes do not catch babylon, a nasty browser hijack. I would advise you to go to my firefox link.
          1. turn off system restore on all the drives thro going to my computer properties
           2. Search babylon in search box and delete all those possible entries. Some could not be deleted
3Boot the computer in safe mode, and then on Run, type regedit  and go to edit menu. In find menu, check for babylon and delete the first entry, and then go on to find babylon by using f3 and delete all those entries.
                 4. Get your windows cd , and start windows from cd and when starting window menu comes choose R for repair and go to c: windows, You have to give 1 and then if pass word is protected , give the pass word to go to c: windows. Type fixmbr and say yes to default change of mbr. There it deletes those stained entries the program does to the master boot record.
                       5. Uninstall the firefox, or google including private settings and then reinstall.
6.Now your problem is gone. I have given these after clearing these bhjacks from fellow computers to 100 success. No second thought about it. Shane, sir, This is why i am asking you to include some special protection.
